DA Basic Beliefs

• We believe there is One True God, the Father of all creation, the highest power and authority that exists
• We believe Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, is the only begotten Son of God, the express image of God, the Messiah, and King of God’s Kingdom.
• We believe Jesus died on the cross to provide a ransom for our sins that we might receive forgiveness through his blood.
• We believe those who believe in the gospel of the Kingdom and Jesus Atonement, repent of their sin, and are baptized will be forgiven.
• We believe that the fruits of true repentance include acknowledging one’s guilt, turning from willful sin, and living for God’s purposes in all things.
• We believe Jesus rose from the dead and will return soon to judge all mankind according to their works.
• We believe in the coming of a literal Kingdom and rule of God over all the earth at the return of Jesus.
• We believe the wicked will be eternally destroyed in the second death but the righteous will inherit immortality in the Kingdom.
